Isibaya actor Andile Gumbi arrested for allegedly hitting his wife. Gumbi was reportedly charged with assault with the intent to do grievous bodily harm after he allegedly attacked and punched his wife and dragged her on the floor.
The actor allegedly broke down the door, attacked her, physically punched her and dragged the terrified woman across the floor after his wife reportedly locked him out of their Randburg home.
Gumbi was arrested after a case was opened at Douglasdale police station. He reportedly spent Freedom Day behind bars and appeared in the Randburg Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday.
Gumbi was released after his court appearance. He will have to appear in court again later this month.
