The money starts coming in and baby mama’s start popping out of nowhere. Not so long ago Thatp Makgaka came forward claiming that Orland Pirates captain Oupa Manyisa is the father of her baby.
Oupa requested a DNA test to be done to prove that Thato’s child is not his. The results are in and the DNA test has revealed that Oupa Manyisa is indeed not the father of the baby. Well that’s the verdict according to a DNA test done at a Johannesburg pathologist lab.
With the results in hand this now clears Oupa of fathering the child of 21-year-old Thato Makgaka.
Oupa’s lawyer then confirmed that the results of the DNA test also clear Manyisa from any infidelity claims. “From the onset my client denied being the alleged father of Ms Makgaka’s child and official paternity tests now confirm that my client is not the biological father,” says John Wilson.
DRUM’s reports that they tried reaching out to Thato to get her side of the story and find out how she feels. They were unsuccessful but they managed to speak to a source close to her and the source revealed that Thato wasn’t surprised and actually saw it coming.
Another source reveals that Thato had wanted to have the DNA tests done at the Johannesburg maintenance court because she feared that Oupa would manipulate the paternity test should she use practitioners of his choice.
“Apart from the pressure she had from his lawyer and her family, they convinced her that going to their people would be faster and would avoid public attention,” she says.
From the get go Oupa had denied being the father to Thato’s child as he was trying to prove that he is faithful to his wife Johana Manyisa and that’s when he asked for a public DNA test.
Oupa was quoted in the Sunday papers saying: “I want to do DNA tests publicly. That girl is ruining my life with her lies. I don’t have a child with her and she should stop spreading lies that I’m the father of her baby.”
We guess the awkward part of this all is that Thato’s little son is named Kganya Oupa Junior and a month ago she wrote an open letter to Oupa in response to his rejection. Ouch!
