Amo Chidi Bags New Role In Local Romantic Comedy Movie. Former Rhythm City actress Amo Chidi is making a come back to the small screen in a new movie that is set to have the masses in stitches. The actress popularly known for her role as Reneilwe on the decommissioned soapie shared the exciting news on her social media.

The film is Mzansi Magic comedy production titled Mjolo Ke Scam which also stars a few popular TV favourites including former Isibaya actor Zakhele Mabasa, comedian and actress Khanyisa Bunu and many more. This is the first comedy production that the actress has done and she had the time of her life while working on it.

“Yay, my first COMEDY!!!!??? I had such a blast working with by far the funniest cast and crew Ever!!! Can’t wait for you all to see it!” she wrote.

The film will be airing 31st July on Mzansi Magic and Amo is very excited for the masses to see it. This is her first gig following her exit on Rhythm City after an eight year journey. Taking to Instagram, the actress opened up about the bittersweet feeling of leaving the show and that she has had a wonderful time on the production.

“I has been an honour to have shared the past 8years of my career with an excellent cast and crew. It is bitter-sweet to say goodbye, you will be greatly missed. My time at Rhythm City has been fruitful and I’m thankful for the opportunity to learn and grow creatively” she wrote.

Amo‘s fans have since congratulated her on the new role, sharing their hopes of seeing her in more productions on the small screen and we fully agree.
