Amanda Black Stresses The Irrelevance Of Alcohol During Lockdown! While majority of South Africans are still against the banning of alcohol during the lockdown period, Afro pop singing sensation Amanda Black seems to think otherwise.
The Amazulu singer seems to think that counselling should be organised for the citizens of Mzansi to battle their alcohol dependency. Amanda has voiced that she is in full agreement that the alcohol restrictions should be upheld until the lockdown period is officially over. The singer is worried to say the least that there is a chance that the banning of alcohol could be lifted.
Since an online petition has been making its rounds on social media to contest the banning of alcohol by the government the singer has come out questioning why people are prioritizing liquor more than the matter at hand which is flattening the curve of the COVID-19 pandemic.
However, Tweeps have pointed out the importance of alcohol towards the economy but Amanda expressed that she was more concerned about the health of those who are battling with alcohol abuse and those who are trying to maintain their sobriety.
Clearly people where not about that because lockdown seems to have people by the throat because Mzansi is Super hectic RN!
