“When I walked the runway at Le Défilé, it was exactly one month since my dad passed away. On that day, I carried the heaviest heart holding back tears in between smiles, balancing the joy of one of the greatest moments of my life with the pain of such a deep loss.

Stepping into the spotlight, I chose to walk with confidence, pride, and gratitude. This wasn’t just a runway it was a moment of resilience, a reminder that even through hard times, I can stand tall, radiant, and worthy.

Thank you @lorealparis for creating a space where beauty is not just about how we look, but about the strength and stories we carry.”

Ama’s heartfelt words moved many of her fans, who praised her courage for walking with so much grace while carrying such a heavy loss. Her presence on the runway showed not only her beauty but also her strength, proving that she continues to shine even in tough times.

The show was even more special as Ama shared the stage with acclaimed Hollywood actress Viola Davis. The moment highlighted the global celebration of women, diversity, and empowerment, which L’Oréal Paris is known for promoting.

Just days before Paris Fashion Week, on 23 September 2025, Ama was officially unveiled as the new Sub-Saharan Africa Ambassador for L’Oréal Paris at a glamorous event in Johannesburg. The partnership marked a major career milestone for her, further cementing her status as one of Africa’s most influential young stars.
