Well a number of people have had their share of karma and when karma hits you, it hits you.

Someone that had a piece of knowledge about that area for us is rap mom Lynn Forbes. Lynn took to DJ Zinhle’s MOMents blog to share a powerful blog titled: “You can’t build your happiness on someone else’s pain, karma will get you”.

Kairo’s granny shared how some people have tried their best to hurt the people she loves and in her life.

“That instance where all you can think about is hurting or harming them … when you are begging ‘karma’ to deal with them. I also choose to believe that having these feelings are normal. We are human after all. The question is, how far do we take these thoughts and emotions when they surface? Do we allow our emotions to consume us or do we have enough emotional intelligence to process what we are feeling and regain our composure, allowing ourselves to handle every situation with maturity and finesse?” she asked.

Lynn shares that she recently had a conversation with someone that had financial trouble.

“At some point during our conversation she said, ‘You can’t build your happiness on someone else’s pain … Karma will get you’,” Lynn wrote.

She adds that pain can never be an easy thing to deal with, “but are we emotionally mature enough to accept and believe that whatever others do to us or say about us has absolutely nothing to do with us. Their actions are a reflection of their own insecurities and unhappiness…”

“Unhappy people are always searching for happiness. They believe their happiness depends on getting something new or something different…”
