Afternoon Express Presenter Palesa Tembe Opens About Losing Sister Nellie Tembe. Losing a loved one is traumatic, depressing, and hard to deal and takes time to heal and to overcome it for most people. Same was for Palesa when she lost her sister Anele.
In a recent interview with DRUM, Palesa opened up about watching her father go blind in 2016 and her sister’s tragic loss in 2021 and how it left her in a dark place. “I didn’t know how to deal with grief. Your life could be falling apart but when they say 3, 2,1, its action… lost myself for over a year,” Palesa admitted. As if that wasn’t a difficult season for the presenter, she also experienced the harshness of Covid-19 with job and salary cuts.
Palesa opened up about her heart for giving and love for children where in some case she volunteers in children programs, “It’s been emotional it has taught me to extend myself more than I never thought I could,” she told DRUM. She is mentioned she is ready to start her own family.
Things are looking up for Palesa who just took to social media sharing a dream gig come true. “Dreams do come true! I’m proud to announce that l am the host @loeries 2022. l will be gracing the main stage of awards ceremony on Friday night and I’m also holding down the DSTV media Sales International seminar of Creativity today. GRATEFUL,” she shared.
