About a month ago Thando Thabethe reached out to her followers on social media to help her find a woman that allegedly slapped her in public.
Now the very same woman that Thando was looking for, for assaulting her is looking for her and has apparently opened a civil case against the 5FM DJ.
Sunday World, reports that Mary Fisher claims that Thando defamed her reputation in public by lying about the events of that day at Woodmead Shopping Centre.
“The matter is with my lawyers. If you want a story, you must be in court. She thought I was just an ordinary citizen that she could lie about,” Fisher told the paper.
Warrant Officer Moses Maphakela, confirmed to the publication that Fisher did indeed open a case of common assault against Thando but, adds that there have not been any arrests regarding the matter as they are still interviewing witnesses.
He goes on to add that once the interviewing process is completed, the docket will be taken to court and a decision on whether to prosecute or not will be made.
