In a heartbreaking turn of events, actress, influencer, and YouTuber Innocent Sadiki and her husband, Phindulo Sadiki, lost their home to a devastating fire. The tragedy left the couple shattered and heartbroken.
Innocent Sadiki took to Instagram to share the devastating news with her followers. “From what we called our Home, we now have NOTHING! Our House burnt down today. Lord you are still our God. We are shuttered. We thank God none of us are injured. Pray for us PLEASE,” she wrote, expressing her deep sorrow and gratitude for their safety.
What makes this incident even more poignant is the timing of Innocent’s recent sermon. She preached on social media about overcoming life’s challenges, using fire as a metaphor. “When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, nor shall the flames scorch you,” she quoted in her sermon. “I will walk and not faint.” Reflecting on the tragic irony, Innocent shared, “Last night, at around 19:00, I recorded this message. I didn’t know that my family was about to experience a literal fire. Everything about this message was a preparation. God speaks. I just didn’t know it would be for us.”
The fire has left the Sadiki family starting from scratch. “We are literally starting from zero,” Innocent revealed. Despite their loss, the outpouring of support from friends and followers has been overwhelming. “The response has been overwhelming. We appreciate and love you. We managed to get pyjamas and toiletries for the kids thanks to our friends. Please keep praying for us. One day at a time.”
Inno has not been able to share the details of how the fire started, stating, “We are currently just trying to get our lives in order. It is still fresh, and we just need time.”
