The African Beauty International Organisation has officially introduced a brand-new pageant, Miss African Beauty South Africa. The exciting announcement marks a fresh chapter in the local pageant scene, bringing new opportunities for young women across the country.
African Beauty International (ABI), the official licence holder for the Miss Universe South Africa franchise, is behind the initiative. The organisation is represented by its current titleholders, Miss Universe SA 2025 Melissa Nayimuli and Miss Supranational SA 2025 Lebo Raputsoe, who shared the big news with fans.
Taking to Instagram, the organisation revealed details about the new journey ahead.

In a video shared alongside the announcement, Lebo Raputsoe spoke about the significance of this new chapter.
“This chapter marks a new path filled with hope, inspiration and celebrates the true essence of South African women,” she said.
Melissa Nayimuli also shared her excitement, hinting at what’s to come.
“We have already selected fantastic, beautiful women who will be announced very soon,” she said.
With anticipation building, many are now waiting to see who will be crowned the first-ever Miss African Beauty South Africa and represent the country on an international platform.
