A Warrant Of Arrest For Babes Wodumo And Tipcee Has Been Issued! A few weeks ago, the same day Babes put out a video of Mampintsha beating her on LIVE Instagram, the singer along with her sister and Tipcee were accused of beating another woman and a case was opened.
All the accused were set to appear in the Durban Magistrate’s Court this Friday (today) but failed to. Now the National Prosecuting Authority has applied for a warrant of arrest for Bongekile “Babes Wodumo” Simelane, her sister Nondumiso Simelane and artist Tipcee (real name Thobeka Ndaba) on charges of common assault.
“They were personally served with summons. Their names were called out three times. An arrest warrant has been issued for all the accused,” said Magistrate Jonck before issuing the warrant for the three womne’s arrest.
“The accused and her attorney didn’t show up in court today. The prosecutor has applied for a warrant of arrest for the accused,” NPA spokesperson Natasha Kara said. Meanwhile Babes was set to perform today at AKA’s Megacy over Everything concert in Durban.
