Actress Connie Chiume Makes Forbes List. The legendary actress continues to be a trailblazer in more ways than one as an actress and filmmaker in Mzansi, she continues to achieve success on behalf South Africa.

The actress known for her iconic roles on many of South Africa’s most watched and loved soapies, like ‘Rhythm City’ and ‘Gomora’ has been honoured by Forbes Africa. The publication honoured women who are excelling in their respective fields of work.

Connie made it to the ‘Forbes Africa 50 Over 50’ list which was recently introduced by Forbes. According to Forbes Africa publication, the women who are 50 years and above are “scaling newer heights and inspiring the next cadre of leadership on the African continent. They have broken boundries throughout their impactful careers and taken up spaces to ensure others have a voice in those very spaces“.

The actress took to her Instagram account to share the news of her making it to the impressive list, alongside Connie Ferguson and Yvonne Chaka Chaka, “Top 50 most infouential women by @forbesafrica. Ngi ya bonga,” Chiume captioned her post.

Many of her industry colleagues flocked to her comments section to congratulate her on her monumental achievement. Actor Sello Maak KaNcube, actress Sipesihle Ndaba and television personlity Minnie Dlamini are just some of the people that complimented her and congratulated her on her big win.
