Pics! Inside Lawrence Maleka’s Zolani Exit Farewell Party. The ‘Big Brother Titans’ host and ‘The River’ actor, said goodbye to his Zolani Dlamini character in the telenovela. The intimate farewell party was attended by many entertainers.

The party attended by his BBTitans co-host, Ebuka, Sidwell “Psyfo” Ngwenya, Somizi, Natasha Tahane, Candice Modiselle, Langa Mavuso amongst others, was a fun filled affair. The 32 year old, first started as Soweto TV presenter and also being a presenter for Mzansi Magic show ‘Clash Of The Choirs’ and then ventured into acting in 2018. He potrayed the role of a rich kasi boy, Zolani Dlamini before exiting the award winning show for five years.

A fun fact about Lawrence portraying Zolani is that he was not the first actor considered for the role. He went on to win a SAFTAs Golden Horn award for best supporting actor in a telenovela. We cannot wait to see what Lawrence does next.

One of his friends, Pysfo had this to say:“ Can you tell how happy I am??!?? Thank you for the invite @sirlawrencemaleka thank you for giving us some of your best years. I’m sure you are going to do great things in the future 🎉🎉🎉🙏🏼.”

He expressed gratitude to his fellow co-workers and the producers of the telenovela. Speaking to Drum Magazine about the behind-the-scenes videos that have made it to social media and how they are a true reflection of their daily lives on set, he said “Unfortunately, [my favourite moments on The River] are everything we’ve done off-screen. There are moments that I wish sometimes we could capture for people.” “If you think those people are crazy, you should see them off-screen,” he added.
