Legendary Sports Presenter, Robert Marawa Scores New Historic Radio Gig On 4 Stations. It seems every broadcasting house in South Ahh wants o be associated with the Robert Marawa brand in some way. If you thought you had heard and seen it all as far as radio broadcasting goes, we have news for you.
Robert Marawa has scored an exclusive deal with Primedia to host his own show Marawa Sports Worldwide(MSW) on 947. The sports show (MSW) is set to commence from the 1st of February 2023 and will air Mondays to Fridays, at 6pm. The show will however syndicate to three other stations and platforms including Vuma FM, Rise FM and Sowetan Live.
“My move to Primedia is both historic and exciting in creating a wider reach for all #MSW fans, especially for Gauteng residents who have been complaining about being left out,” said Marawa.
The show is set to be centred around issues of the development of sports, gender issues in sports, racial quotas and transformation in sports and real life experience stories of how sports changes people’s can be different used to change the lives of people in communities.
“We have heard our listeners appeal for sports news and so we will be easing drive-time frustrations with a stretch of compelling high-quality sports radio. Listeners can look forward to 60 minutes filled to the brim with the very latest sports news, exclusive exposés and interviews, with real-time updates and insights,” said the radio station’s manager, Ravi Naidoo.
