SA Celebs Flock In To Offer Well-Wishes For Radio Legend Mark Pilgrim As He Battles Cancer. Radio and television personality, Mark Pilgrim has been battling cancer for a while now and his fighting spirit has been inspirational for everyone who follows him on social media.
Mark was diagnosed with cancer at the age of eighteen, he was then diagnosed with stage three testicular cancer. Last year, he was told that his testicular cancer had progressed to stage four but being the fighter that he is, he has managed to stay positive and fight the battle.
Pilgrim has been sharing his journey on social media. From doctor’s visits to updates, low moments and winning moments, he’s been sharing it all. On Tuesday, Mark shared an update on a social media which showed him lying in bed with a big smile on his face. “Really skinny at the moment. Having more fluid drained from abdomen so my tummy has a bit of space for food. It’s a journey. It’s not easy. Baby steps. Still have the end goal in sight where myself, Adrienne and the girls are walking on the beach with our future golden retriever”, he shared.
