Metro FM Rehires Tbo Touch! Here’s How Much He’ll Reportedly Earn. In news we didn’t think we’d get in 2022, Tbo Touch is headed back to Metro FM six years since they fired him and for a hefty price.
According to Sunday World, Tbo Touch is set for a return at Metro FM after the station CEO allegedly chased him for almost a year. Tbo was reportedly not keen at first because of how he was let go by the station previously but ended up agreeing. According to the publication, Tbo Touch wanted a million Rand per month salary on his return and he was told they could not afford it. He will reportedly taking home R480 000 a month which will probably make him the highest earning radio personality in South Africa.
“Touch is not only going to host his show there, but as part of his agreement, he would also go and find advertisers and sponsors for his show and for the station. That is why R30 000 of that package is for a car allowance,” a close source told Sunday World. Six years ago, Tbo was reportedly earning R200 000 per month.
Tbo Touch is yet to comment on his reported return to Metro FM. Now the question is what happens to his radio station and that ‘Fired FM’ station that was in the works alongside Robert Marawa, DJ Sbu, DJ Fresh and Gareth Cliff.
