DJ Sbu Apologies For Mo Faya Incident That Got Him Suspended.

If DJ Sbu’s actions when it comes to representing his new brand and product a lot of people would say he just may be over advertising himself and his products and not in the best way.

DJ Sbu was suspended from Metro FM last week for choosing to advertise his energy drink, Mo Faya, at the Metro FM awards instead of filling in for his co-worker Euphonik.

Sowetan reports that the media all rounder and businessman addressed journalists at the National African Federated Chamber of Commerce and Industry and acknowledged that he was “out of line” at the awards ceremony.

“I sincerely apologised about what happened on the night of the Metro FM Awards,” he allegedly read from his phone.

“I do acknowledge that no one has the right to abuse the platform of the public broadcaster” he continued.

Sbu continued to say that he will follow and respect all the laws that have been set aside for him by the SABC.

He then added that he did not understand how other media representatives could mention their sponsoring brands or their own brands but when he does it it’s not taken with the same punch.

“Many celebrities were asked about who dresses them. And many people mentioned names of fashion designers including American clothing brands,” he said.

As we know Sbu has been suspended from Metro FM until further notice.
