Jub Jub Releases Public Statement Regarding Rape Allegations Levelled By Amanda Du Pont. Jub Jub’s latest interview with MacG was the perfect example of how not to behave during an interview. It’s become apparent that celebs go to MacG’s podcast show just to trash their career’s and the Uyajola 9/9 host did exactly that. During the interview, Jub Jub real name Molemo Maarohanye alleged that he and Amanda Du Pont, not only “smashed” but they also lived together in the South. After the interview went viral, Amanda Du Pont posted a video making counter claims about the rapper, alleging that in the two years they were together, Jub Jub used to rape, abuse her and tried to kill her a few time.
Amanda has pledged to take legal action against Molemo and has urged other women who have also been raped by the rapper to stand together with her in seeking justice against Jub Jub. Aside from Amanda, three other women have spoken up and alleged that they too have been victims of Maarohanye. One of theses women include TV personality Masechaba Ndlovu and a female cousin of his.
The Uyajola host has finally broken his silence regarding the allegations levelled against him with a statement sharing how regretful he is for some of the comments he made in the interview especially about Amanda. Jub Jub added that he was out of line for discussing intimate information about their relationship and he wishes to apologize to her for the humiliation.
“It was inappropriate for me to discuss the intimate details of my relationship withMs Du Pont in public. I deeply regret the incident” he wrote.
He also apologized to his fans for the inappropriate language that he used on the show. He did also address the allegations of rape made by the actress claiming that he will be taking the legal route going forward in solving them. He will also be dealing with the other accusers via his attorney and requests for the public and media to let the law run its course.
On the other hand, Amanda took to social media to express her gratitude for the outpouring of support, that she has received and assured her supporters that the movement is well on its way.
