Katlego Maboe On His Journey To Finding Happiness Again. After his messy split with girlfriend Monique Muller made headlines last year, Katlego Maboe has taken a step back from social media to sort out his affairs. It Looks like things may be looking up for the former Expresso TV host after recently making a light return on the socials. Maboe has been posting about his journey to finding happiness again following the end of his relationship.

Taking to Instagram, Katlego shared the journey to being happy again was longer than he expected but he is thankful to have finally reached the destination.

“It’s taken some time, much more time than I would’ve liked or expected of myself, to get to this point. A place where I could honestly smile again, feel again and laugh from the bottom of my belly. I am grateful that I am here — now,” he shared.

He added that the sudden change of perspective was influenced by a group of elderly women who were hiking the same route and connected to each of their energies which felt maternal to him in a sense.

” On this morning’s hike, we met a group of elderly ladies going along the same route up the mountain. As they laughed and bantered amongst each other, I allowed myself to be fully immersed in their energy and embrace – each one of them feeling like a maternal figure that has once touched my life, full of love, warmth and compassion. They were a group of friends, the oldest among them 63yrs old, who have supported each other throughout their lives – the “ride or die” kind of crew whose love for one another was as a tactile tapestry across time. They were energy, they were poetry and music with a beat all their very own. I am humbled that I got to experience a tiny part of their world – surely an ideal to strive for. My wish for you is that you will find that tribe and that you will hold them dear all the days of your life. Let them know how much they mean to you and love them boundlessly. All love!❤️” he wrote.

Things haven’t been the same for Katlego since he not only lost his relation but also all work engagements due to ongoing GBV allegations. He is now attempting to get his life back on track, but now without an apology.

Maboe is reportedly suing ex girlfriend Monique Muller and her family for R4 million in total for his career and psychological damage caused by the scandal. Katlego is claiming that since Muller’s alleging of abuse, giving her and STI and cheating were circulating in the media, it has heavily affected his income and reputation. Monique’s brother also came out to the media at the time and made further claims of Katlego’s alleged abusive ways.

The 34-year-old is reportedly demanding R1 million in damages from his former partner, her brother Seth Muller, Sabrina Walters, the founder of Women for Change, and Dr Janet van Eeden, chairperson of the judges for the NFVF’s Saftas.
