Thembisa Nxumalo Gushes Over Her Husbands Sacrifice During Her Lengthy Hospital Stay. Some celebrities have mastered the art of keeping their lives private and one person who is making sure she doesn’t slip up is actress Thembisa Nxumalo. The former OPW host recently had a lengthy battle with COVID-19 which saw her spend over a month in hospital. The mother of three recently released a statement detailing her tough battle against the deadly virus and thanked all those who showed her immense support during the time.
Having shared that she contracted the virus in April, the actress reveals that she was in and out of hospital where she received the best medical care. Thembisa who spent a full month in hospital shared that she was very frightened by the experience however she remains grateful to her family for being the support that she needs.
One of the many people who stayed by Thembisa‘s side throughout the battle was her dear husband, whom she describes as an incredible human. In a lengthy appreciation post to her hubby where she hushed about the sacrifices that her husband made regardless of his busy schedule. Not being able to see her children was probably the worst thing to ever happen for her but her husband’s presence is what kept her going.
The proud wife shared how her hubby brings her so much peace in her life and she wishes to return the favour by whisking him way on a vacation where he can kick back and relax.
“A constant reminder of the incredible human I married. Right there by my side everyday, when I was in hospital. Regardless of all the 1000002 things he had to. I can’t begin to explain what it was like not being able to see my babies but seeing his face kept me going?. With a constant smile, a joke here and there, videos of the kids and constantly reminding me that everything will be okay❤️?. You are not only the love of my life but my peace too. I wish I could whisk you away on a special vacay so you can breathe easy. Lie on a hammock and just relax?. You deserve that peace of mind” she wrote.
In the statement, The Queen actress also extended her gratitude to the medical team who took care of her during her stay. the many deaths we have witnessed has made Thembisa realize how blesses she is to be able to leave the hospital and go be with her loved ones again. The mother of three expressed how she doesn’t take the blessing of life for-granted because other were not lucky enough to have seen the same fate.
