947 Host Hulisani Ravele Shares Hilarious Blunder She Almost Made Live On Air. Almost everyone who has been in a work environment has a funny story to tell about a mess up that almost happened and TV personality and radio host Hulisani Ravele has just shared an OMG moment that nearly happened at work. Taking to her social media, Ravele got candid about a mistake that almost occurred live on air during her show.
The 947 host shared that she almost gave out her personal cellphone number live on air. She had already said most of it but something in her mind clicked and she realized the mistake that she had almost made. Thank goodness she caught herself a few digits before she got to the end of the number.
“Yhooooo!!! I almost gave my personal number on-air as the studio WhatsApp line!!! I started saying the number and I was like “no man, that sounds like my number!” Stopped a few digits before the end, Fara Gaaaawdt” she wrote.
Hulisani who has been in the industry for over 20 years recently commented on a tweet from the SAFTA platform, claiming that in her many years of industry experience she has never hosted the prestigious event and that is something that she would like change. After broadcast reporter Phil Mphela took note of Hulisani’s tweet, he along with all the Hulisani stans on twitter came together using the #HulisaniMustHostSaftas15 to convince the them to do the right thing.
Hulisani later revealed that things didn’t work out as planned and will not be hosting the SAFTAs however, she is grateful for all the support.
