This year has been quite the eventful one for comedian and actor Donovan Goliath after sharing a few wonderful developments that have occurred in his life thus far. The One Night Kwa Mxolisi actor and his wife Davina Goliath not only tied the knot a few months ago but now they have officially welcomed their little bundle of joy.
Taking to Instagram, Goliath shared a tear jerking video of the moment that they welcomed their baby girl to the world who they named Sophia Mae. The bouncing baby girl was delivered on the 10th of August via c-section and the couple have been over the moon since her arrival.
The proud dad penned a heart warming note about the anticipation and suspense that he experienced while waiting for the arrival of his bundle of joy. The TV personality shared that he thought that he had prepared for the baby’s arrival but seeing it happen in real life was just a feeling that is unmatched. The actor admitted to having shed a few tears and being flooded with all sorts of emotions when he first laid eyes on baby Sophia.
In closing he thanked his significant other for blessing him with the gift which is their baby girl, sharing that he has never experienced a love like this before.
“9 months I was kept in suspense wondering what you’d look like, smell like and sound like. I thought I had prepared myself for your arrival but watching you appear and hearing your voice put me in a state I could never describe. Oh how I wept when I saw you. It was like a dam wall of emotions that broke and completely flooded me. I just stared and stared and probably didn’t breathe as I watched them pull you out. Thank you for giving me this gift @davinagordongoliath I thought I knew love but this this is something else. I can’t wait to make magic with you my baby girl. Welcome, Sophia Mae Goliath” he wrote.
The Goliath‘s recently shared their special day which was extra special because they specifically said their “I Do’s” on the day of their 5 year anniversary together and now they have welcomed the latest addition to the family. Friends and followers of the couple flooded the post with congratulatory messages and wished them all the best going forward.
