Late Former Generations Actress Sindi Buthelezi Cause Of Death Revealed. Mzansi has been dealing with a lot of losses in the entertainment industry and unfortunately, the death of yet another local talent was announced on social media this week. The family of former Generations actress Sindi Buthelezi took to twitter to reveal the shocking news of her death.
Reports have since confirmed the actresses cause of death which was ruled as Diabetes related complications after being ill for some time. Speaking to TshisaLIVE, Sindi’s mother Makhiwe Buthelezi also revealed that Sindi additionally suffered from Ulcer’s
“Sindi was sick. The doctor found out that she is diabetic and another problem that she had was that she had ulcer so her body was just sore. So it’s not like Sindi had Covid-19 or anything.” Makhiwe said.
According to reports, Sindi had found out three week prior that she was diagnosed with Diabetes however, her death was unexpected and has left the entire family devastated. The family has thanked everyone for showing their support during the painful time.
“Although she had been sick for about three weeks after finding out she had diabetes, we were not expecting this as a family. It has been a very difficult time for us and we thank everyone who has been sending messages of condolences. We appreciate it” she told the publication.
Sindi was a mother to a seven-year-old girl whom her mother Makhiwe is planning to adopt and care for on a full time basis.
“The child is going to live with me. Even Sindi used to live with me, so now I will be staying with the child. We’ll do arrangements … I’m going to adopt her as her mother” she said.
Sindi was 32 at the time of her death and was well known for her role as Zinhle Mathe, on the old Generations format/ Sindi was also popularly known for her character Ntombi on SABC’s Soul City, while others will remember her on etv’s Ashes to Ashes where she played the role of Patience Khumalo.
