After months of speculations on whether Babes was pregnant, the news was officially confirmed in a trailer for her upcoming reality show with husband Mampintsha that she shared on social media few days before announcing the birth of her first child. In the clip, Babes broke the news to her shocked loved ones saying, “I’m pregnant”. And now the bundle of joy is here.

Babes did not share much details of her child including the name of the baby, their gender and when they were born. She did however reveal what seems to be the baby’s nickname… ‘Spontsi’. We wonder how that came about. “Unkulunkulu emuhle njalo??♥️ our beautiful blessing is finally here, inhlanhla yethu.!! #spontshi usefikile ?,” the new mom captioned a photo of herself in the hospital holding her newborn baby next to her husband.

Babes and Mampintsha tied the knot earlier this year in a traditional ceremony in their hometown of KZN. The couple shared their wedding photos on social media and that’s when speculations of Babes being pregnant first started.
