Bonnie Mbuli Shares How Her Ex Husband Called The Police On Their 10 Year Old Son. When co-parenting, things can go well depending on the partner you have or they can go totally sideways which has been the case for veteran TV personality and actress Bonnie Mbali who revealed some rather shocking news about the stunt that her ex husband pulled in attempt to discipline their son.
Taking to her website, Bonnie shared an article about how her ex husband called the cops on their ten year old son to apparently reprimand him for a fight that broke out between him and his older brother. According to Bonnie she found out about the incident while driving her son to school. The frightened young boy apparently broke down in tears while telling the story to his mother.
According to the ten year old boy, he was instructed to leave the house by his father to speak to the older son one afternoon. On his return, he noticed two armed policeman standing in their home who apparently came to intimidate him for a silly fight that broke out between the boys a few days ago. A frantic Bonnie then asked her close friend to enquire about the incident from her ex husband because she knew that she would act on impulse and apparently this is what he told her.
According to the Bonnie’s former husband and baby daddy, one afternoon while in the presence of the father’s current girlfriend, the boys had a fight which saw a fork being playfully pulled out by the younger sibling. After her ex husband and his girlfriend broke up the commotion, the eldest son was told to leave the apartment and the youngest sibling was informed by his older brothers that the police had been called and are on their way.
As expected, the ten year old boy was beyond terrified of being taken to jail so he thought of numerous ways on how he could run away from the situation. Soon after, two policemen arrived and gave the child a stern warning of how he would be arrested if he were to ever behave in the manner of which he did while fighting with his siblings.
Bonnie is still livid by how the situation was handled and how state resources were abused all in the name of disciplining a ten year old boy. Mbali is now in the process of seeking professional help for the boys in order to process what had happened on the night. Apparently, the boy feels very guilty about what happened and thought he deserved to be reprimanded in that manner, especially because he is adopted. The author now apparently doesn’t feel comfortable leaving her children with their father anymore.
Bonnie is convinced that men need to be held accountable for their actions because the COVID-19 pandemic, has somehow overshadowed the abuse and masculinity that men enforce over women and children. Bonnie was once upon a time married to actor and local director Sisanda Henna however the couple split after an eight year marriage in 2013 and have been good friends from there on out.
