Veteran media personality and all rounder Somizi Mhlongo has been bagging gigs by the minute in 2020 and it looks like he is not done yet as he has now officially ventured into the music industry, and who better to join him than his bff, award winning singer Vusi Nova.
Taking to Instagram, Somizi let the cat out of the bag and revealed that he is soon going to be releasing some new music accompanied by his good friend Vusi Nova. The gospel duet is described as a tribute to both Somizi’s mother who recently passed Mary Twala and as well as Vusi’s late mother Ndileka. The song will be dropping this Thursday.
“Hayi shemmmmm this 2020 ngi busy…….something is dropping this Thursday” Somizi wrote.
Somgaga’s last release was with the amazing Judith Sephuma as they gave us some Mariah Carey vibes with their Christmas inspired song titled An African Christmas.
The radio personality and SA Idols judge also recently launched his latest book, Dinner at Somizis’s: I am not a chef which gives readers a chance to try out some simple and tasty meals that we always see the star cooking at his home.
