So first there was drama between Kelly Khumalo and Senzo Meyiwa’s family about Kelly still having possession over Senzo’s car even after his death . The fights were expanding and media attention was on full blast forgetting all about Senzo Meyiwa’s tragic passing. It was not only Senzo’s family that was upset about Kelly driving around in his car it seems a lot of people weren’t very accepting of the situation of the ‘side-chick’ being in control.
The big problem behind the car was that Kelly was apparently parading around in the car just hours after the death of Orlando Pirates Goalkeeper Meyiwa.
Well all the drama can FINALLY end because no one except for the BMW representatives will be driving Senzo’s 4X4 BMW X6 anymore. According to Daily Sun Senzo Meyiwa’s BMW has been repossessed because the payments on the car have not been made.
The car was repossessed from Senzo Meyiwa’s home at Umlazi, KZN yesterday by Aucor Property in Durban after his family failed to settle the payments that were due for the car. No one knows how much money was outstanding on the car but it was enough to put the car on auction.
According to Daily Sun the car was financed for more than R1 million by BMW Motor Finance and was not insured.Aucor confirmed also confirmed to them that the vehicle was booked in at the Durban branch yesterday. “We cannot say when it will be auctioned because we have to wait for clearance from the bank,” said an Aucor employee.
Senzo also had a BMW 1 Series and a VW Gold 5 GTI no one knows yet what will happen to those two cars yet, although it is rumoured that the BMW may be repossessed as well.
Senzo Meyiwa’s estate was shared last month between his family members and Kelly and the child she has with Senzo did not receive a cent from the estate.
Sam Meyiwa, Senzo’s father, didn’t want to talk to Daily Sun. “Let’s leave it, sisi,” he said to a Daily Sun reporter before ending the call.
Kelly’s cellphone apparently rang unanswered, we guess she’s got other things going on as her music is back on track!
