Rami Chuene Defends Natasha Thahane From Critics After Scoring A Teenage TV Role! Congratulations are in order for actress Natasha Thahane who scored a leading role in Africa’s second original Netflix series, Blood And Water.

Whilst it’s an exciting new opportunity for the actress, not everyone is happy about the casting. Critics believe that the 24 year old is too old to play a teenage role. After posting behind the scenes photos announcing the show, one tweep told Natasha that she was too old. Natasha clapped back with a meme video which suggests she wasn’t bothered.

Actress Rami Chuene also came to Natasha’s defense tweeting, “It doesn’t work like that. I wish I could break it down for you but I’m tired. But trust me, this cast is perfect. Just because you know how old the actors are, doesn’t mean they don’t fit the characters. Your wish comes from a place of not knowing & I don’t blame you.”
