Simz Ngema On Speculations That She Was Living Off Her Late Husband’s Life Insurance! Simphiwe Ngema has decided to set the record straight following accusations that she was squandering her late husband’s insurance money.

Simphiwe who says accusation that she was living off her late husband Dumisani Masilela’s insurance money surfaced after she posted pictures of her and her family at a beach after the murder of her husband has refuted those claims.

“I remember posting a picture of me at the beach with my family and people talking about how I’m spending my late husband’s insurance money” Simz wrote.

In a lengthy Instagram post where the Isidingo actress celebrates her recent achievement of buying a house, Simz Ngema as she is popularly known expressed that her husband died without life insurance and his death was a major strain as she was jobless that time. The only thing she says her husband left behind was the car he was murdered in.

“3 years ago I became a 27 yr old Widow. My husband passed away two months after our wedding (with no life insurance) and I was left with nothing. I didn’t have a job and I was left with a car that he was murdered in. My family was all I had.” Simz shared.

She concluded by saying all that she has achieved was a result of her hard work.

“My achievements might be small but next time you see me know that’s all ME!!! Here’s to healing and achieving more goals…” Simphiwe added.
