Phelo Bala Shares His Coming Out Story! It’s not a secret that the singer did not have the support of all his family members on his sexuality in the beginning but it seems they have all since come around.
Phelo, who is currently engaged to media personality Moshe Ndiki recently took to social media on National Coming Out Day to share his story on the challenges he faced coming out and the upsides of it.
“Coming out was never easy. I’ve had to deal with people viewing me differently, backlash, homophobia, losing business because I now not fit the “criteria”. Living a lie was not what I wanted for my life, especial if I wanted to grow mentally and emotionally. Life is hard enough as it for me to imprison myself and hide who I really am,” the singer shared.
On the upsides, Phelo shared how he now has peace. “Peace with myself and I focus my energy on those that truly love me because there will always be someone that loves you for YOU,” he added.
