Somizi’s R2 Million Mercedes Benz Hijacked! According to reports, Somizi’s friend and business partner Leeroy Sidambe was driving the car alone when he was attacked by hijackers on the Kliprivier off-ramp on the N12 highway.

Sidambe was reportedly forced to drive around for hours with the men who hijacked Somizi’s Mercedes. Sidambe says he was driving home from the Brics summit gala dinner in Sandton when the four men approached him.

Sidambe also told Sunday World that the hijackers took many of his valuables, groceries he bought, bank cards and even withdrew an amount of R21,000.

The vehicle was later recovered in Eldorado Park, 16km away from where the incident took place but no arrests have been made. Somizi is yet to make a public statement about the incident.
