5 Things You Need To Know About Scandal’s Bad Boy Bongile Mantsai! Scandal fans are loving and hating his character Mthunzi at the same time. His career is on the rise to become one of the most sought after actors in the country. Get to know him with these five facts.

1. Bongile Mantsai is 33 years old. He’s from Stellenbosch, Western Cape. His father was a bishop of the St Paul Apostolic church.

2. He career started in theatre back in 1997. He has gone on to star in Inxeba (2017), Sew the Winter to my Skin (2018) and Cold Harbour (2013) amongst other productions.

3. He used to play instruments at church and composed hymns acapella songs. Besides acting, he writes music for theatre plays.

4. His ultimate goal in acting is to do an International movie.

5. He won his first SAFTA Golden Horn Award for Best Supporting Actor in a Feature Film for his role in Inxeba.
