Babes Wodumo On The Downside Of Growing Up A Pastor’s Kid! If you didn’t know, the Wololo singer is a Pastor’s kid, her father is still a Pastor and she grew up in the church.

In a recent interview on Afternoon Express, Babes opened up about the not so nice side of being the daughter of a Pastor saying the expectations and pressure that comes with the title is unfair.

“It’s not okay the way PKs are treated. It really puts a strain on you, others end up being chased out of the church and others even see their studies suffering as a result. It affects everyone too, like if these parents are angry at my actions, then they don’t give at church which puts a strain on my family,” she explained.

Babes added that it is not easy being a PK because all eyes from Christians are always on you. “The other time, a woman in the church told my mother that her child said she saw me at the club. All I asked my mother was, ‘what was her child doing at the club in the first place when she saw me?'”

Babes said she was grateful to have a supportive family that defends her. She shared that her father doesn’t mind asking the church to vote for her because he’s very proud of her.
