Generations: The Legacy’s Andisiwe Dweba Set To Leave The Show! A few weeks after news broke that Thulisile Phongolo who plays Namhla on Generations is set to leave the show, it turns out she’s not the only one.
Andisiwe’s character, Getty is also set to be written off. Generations’ creator Mfundi Vundla recently revealed that the two character will be written off because he has exhausted their characters.
“We did not expel Andisiwe and Thuli, but we had come to the conclusion that there was nothing more we could do with their characters. And if you don’t have a good storyline you are forced to let sometimes let some people go,” Vundla explained.
He also announced that he was in search of new characters.
“We have had auditions with new talent to help us find out who is available in the industry. There have been great people who we’d like on the show and we will be creating new characters for them.”
