Samkelo Not Happy With Unsolicited Scary Pregnancy Advice! A few days ago the actress announced her pregnancy to the world. Whilst thousands of congratulatory messages poured in on all her social media platforms, there were those who started dishing out the advice.
The actress has since taken to twitter expressing how annoying it is to see those comments especially scary stories about pregnancy.
“Women and their scary advice on pregnancy is it not obvious that our bodies aren’t the same? Most just try to scare me about what’s to come. I’m having an awesome time and will continue to. I reject your “it’s gonna get worse” notions. Just congratulate and move on,” she lashed out.
Samkelo says she knows women’s bodies are different and other moms need to stop imposing their own experiences on other women.
The first time mommy to be says it’s unnecessary and people need to just congratulate and keep it moving. Check out her necessary rant below.
Women and their scary advice on pregnancy? is it not obvious that our bodies aren’t the same?
Most just try to scare me about what’s to come. Ndiyekeni.

I may not go through the hell you say you went through. So why try scare me to stress me? It’s so confusing. Why not speak positive about the beauties of carrying a life? Why tell me “usazozwa” types of things? ?

I love the women who are so quick to congratulate and move on. The ones who don’t ask too much. The ones who don’t feel obliged to share the hell they went through during their pregnancies. The ones who are just happy for you. Nje.

Women can be so weird. It’s like, how does she know how YOUR body works. And why is she imposing her experience on you? ? https://t.co/IjsnSzh0eU

Even this. It’s imposing on my experience. Our fatigue thresholds aren’t the same. And what if I have stay-in help?
My issue is women always highlighting the scary things more than the beauty of the journey. https://t.co/1tvqm1MDQF— Samkelo Ndlovu (@SamkeloNdlovu) December 1, 2017
Yes. Advice is welcome when it is constructive. Not with the intention to scare. I’ll experience things and decide for myself if they’re scary or not. https://t.co/uH4x04VaFz
