Somizi Scores A Major Gig In America! If you thought the first half of 2017 was the best it could get for media personality, think again. Somizi is headed to the MTV VMAs in Los Angeles.

Somizi is going to host the red carpet of the MTV Video Music Awards in Los Angeles on August 28th which will be broadcast across Africa.

Somizi has had a great practice as he has successfully hosted the SAMAs twice.

“I slaughtered because I feel I have to thank my ancestors for all the opportunities that I get. I do that every three months, I don’t care if people think that I’m using sorcery to make money,” Somizi was quoted saying.

The media personality is set to make a stop in New York to launch his new book, Dominoes: Unbreakable Spirit – The Somizi Mhlongo Story, before heading to LA.
