Bonang Reveals The Only Way She Wanted Fame! In her book From A to B: Invest In Your Sparkle, Bonang is opened up about her first few years in the entertainment.
Bonang who has become one of SA’s top style queens says her focus then wasn’t on that. “For the first two years, I didn’t really care about what I wore on Live. When I say I didn’t care what I wore I don’t mean I didn’t apply my mind, it was just I had a different focus and being a style queen wasn’t it,” she says in the book.
Bonang says she wanted to be known for her craft. She was inspired by how the likes of Basetsana Khumalo and Ursula Stapelfeldt who had cement themselves as TV presenters.
“I watched their names become synonymous with what good presenting is and I wanted that for myself. As far as fame was concerned, I wanted to be famous because I was excellent,” Bonang said.
