Warren Masemola Sets The Record Straight On Those Gay Rumors!
He won a SAFTA for his gay role on SesTopLa but many have speculated if Warren is gay in real life.

Thanks to a more accepting society, more gay people are able to live their lives more authentically without the fear of punishment. But this also means that more effeminate straight men are often mistaken for homosexual – like Warren Masemola.

In a recent interview with Anele, the SAFTA winning actress revealed he is not gay but admitted people have always thought he is gay.

“I grew up with people saying I was going to be gay before I matriculated. I had people placing bets and money and be like, ‘he’ll be exposed to his community and one day he’ll come out,” Warren said.

The actor goes on to say if he was gay, he’d openly live as one. “I’ve heard it all my life. I’m not shy about it [being gay], if it happens that I turn gay one day. I prefer to embrace being gay than not being gay because then it means you’re living a lot of your life being unhappy.”
