According to The Sowetan, after many years of legal battle between Bongani and his mother’s former record label, he has walked away a millionaire after a R20 million payout. Bongani reportedly feels that he doesn’t need to do music anymore.
“Everything has been rounded up. I have been laying low, and I don’t want to go around flashing money because it is my mother’s hard-earned money, and I don’t want to paint a bad picture of her.
“How do you think I have been surviving? I don’t even have to do music because I feel like she has left such a strong legacy,” he told the publication.
