Gospel legend Rebecca Malope was known as the late Lundi Tyamara’s God mother who took him under her wing as one of her backup singers. But when she was called names for performing at his memorial service, Malope was left hurt and angry. Rebecca Malope angry and hurt by ‘Funeral Specialist’ title.

Rebecca who says wanted to perform at Lundi’s funeral but only managed to perform at his memorial service says she went to the funeral with a heavy heart after a fellow gospel singer called her a “funeral specialist”.

“I went to the funeral with a bleeding heart.” Malope has performed at many famous people’s funerals including, Sfiso Ncwane, Senzo Meyiwa and David Masondo’s funerals.
