MetroFM Suspends Mpho Maboi Over Lerato Kganyago Tweet

Remember the whole Lerato Kganyago and True Love drama that had every celeb coming out to defend her? Well, there was one person who wasn’t fully sympathizing with Lerato, her fellow Metro FM host Mpho Maboi. MetroFM suspends Mpho Maboi over Lerato Kganyago tweet.

“I don’t care for that woman, personally, but still will call out what TL did to her coz that could have been any of us… Not cool,” tweeted Mpho when everyone was defending Lerato.

She went on to suggest Lerato was fake tweeting, “Lerato fake love. That is why you are bothered. I’m not. Made my point. Unapologetic about either. You don’t like it. TOUGH!!”

Well, Lerato must have complained to her Metro FM bosses who asked Maboi to publicly apologize for insulting her colleague Lerato Kganyago on Twitter. But as we all now know apologizing is not really something Metro FM presenter love to do.

“The SABC can confirm Ms Maboi is not scheduled to be on air for now. But the SABC is not at liberty to divulge the details of this decision, as the matter is between them and Metro FM management. We will communicate further if there is a need,” said SABC spokesman Kaizer Kganyago.

Lerato could not be reached for comment.
