We are not sure if actors and actresses get bored easily with characters they portray or maybe its just a case of getting better offers. These local stars have left some of their biggest roles in South African television not because they are quitting acting but for anther local soapie. Here are 5 SA actors who recently ditched a soapie for another.
1. Kgomotso Christopher
Kgomotso recently announced she would be joining Scandal barely a month after ditching Isidingo.
2. Tumisho Masha
He has been on Isidingo and not long ago Isibaya but the actor is now part of Scandal and it doesn’t look like he’ll be leaving anytime soon.
3. Nkuli M
Nkuli left the role that introduced him as an actor on Muvhango for the new Generations: The Legacy. Although he’s not currently featuring on the popular soapie.
4. Amanda Du Pont
Amanda ditched her role on Muvhango when she joined the record breaking Skeem Saam.
5. Masasa Mbangeni
Masasa who is set to leave Scandal soon has also joined SABC2’s Thola.
