Now we all laugh at the OLX adverts when they come up on TV. Whether it’s parents getting rid of their kids belongs once they go off to college or, a girlfriend getting rid of her boyfriend’s video games all those ads are just hilarious.
One ad that was recently on Gumtree that wasn’t too hilarious is one of a young lady selling a baby on the site.
The child that was being sold on the website was on sale for R5 000 but, the crazy part of it all is that the baby that was on sale did not belong to the woman that was selling it.
The 20-year-old woman from Pietermaritzburg was arrested in an undercover operation earlier this week and is currently under police custody.
Hawks Spokesperson Brigadier Hangwani Mulaudzi shares that they were made aware of the bizarre sale by members of the public who were shocked by it.
They are currently investing the matter further.
Talk about going to the extreme to get rid of a baby that’s not even yours.
