Its become so easy lately to keep up with our favourite celebrities and what they get up to on a daily basis. DJ Zinhle has made it even easier for everyone who constantly wants to know how little baby Kairo is doing.
The DJ took to her MOMents blog to share how the past three weeks have been with her little baby girl and how having a child affects ones career.
“Being self employed, my next paycheck depends entirely on me. Taking time off to have a baby was something that had to be thought through and planned properly.”
With that being said Zinhle explained that even a day before her daughter was born, she was at the office making sure that things were running smoothly. “Kairo is my world and I want to make sure that she has the best of everything. In order to make this happen, I need to work hard so I can provide for my child.”
She then went on to express that she understands why people would focus entirely on their careers first before considering having a baby.
“It’s hard to climb the corporate ladder while holding a baby in one arm…. I used to watch my baby’s father with so much envy every time he went to work. Yes, he was expecting a child too and he was happy but he didn’t have to stay at home on maternity leave. After the baby is born, he doesn’t have to be home all the time to make sure that the baby is bathed, fed and the nappy changed. The main responsibility of caring for the baby lies with the mother…”
She also took a minute to address the remarks that people were throwing out at her saying that it’s too soon to be back at work.
“…I am a working mom but that doesn’t mean I love my child any less. I do not feel any guilt about going back to work. I will still get time to be with my baby and family. I continue to plan so that our lives run smoothly.”
Ok honestly, we think that AKA has officially found the perfect wife. DJ Zinhle is what we call a Supermom in 2015!! Baby Kairo and King Forbes are so lucky.
