South African content creator, TikTok personality and former Big Brother Mzansi Season 4: S’ya Mosha housemate Mich Mazibuko has shared an emotional milestone as he continues renovating his family home in Mpumalanga.

The brand ambassador for Eden Perfumes gave his followers a look at the renovation project, showing the building materials and the progress made in transforming his mother’s house. For Mich, the project is about more than improving a home. It represents the restoration of something his family lost years ago.

Sharing what the renovation means to him, Mich wrote: “For me, this is a process of restoration. The 14-room house we lost from fire growing up. My mom is smiling and happy. Let’s post Episode 2 tomorrow. I’m so proud of me!”

Mich also opened up about the journey behind the project, explaining that he first started building the Mazibuko family home in 2024. However, he decided to take a break to focus on getting his own life in order before continuing with the renovation.

During that time, he secured a brand-new apartment, bought a car and treated himself. After a year and six months, he now feels ready to return to the project and continue giving back to the people who have supported and loved him.

Reflecting on the emotional significance of the achievement, Mich expressed his gratitude for being able to do something meaningful for his mother.

“11 years later, I can’t face the last picture on the video, but we’re grateful. Grateful I got to make my mom stop cleaning at my high school, people’s houses, gave her the house she deserves and, mostly, ukubuyisa isthunzi sakhe.”

Mich also revealed that the renovation will continue in November, when he plans to focus on painting and plastering before moving on to the inside of the house.

“Let’s continue with the project in November with painting and ukuplaster. Then we move inside with the project.”

The content creator’s journey has touched many people, with followers congratulating him on his achievement and praising him for making his mother’s happiness a priority.
