Enhle Mbali Takes Gabisile Global as Blood Legacy Season 2 Returns

South African actress Enhle Mbali Mlotshwa is thrilled to be stepping back into the world of Blood Legacy, with Season 2 set to bring even more drama, family secrets and high-stakes moments when it premieres on Friday, 25 September 2026.

The actress, who plays the memorable character Gabisile Ndlovu, recently gave fans a behind-the-scenes look at what goes on when the cameras start rolling. In a joint post shared by Netflix South Africa and Enhle Mbali Mlotshwa, viewers got a glimpse into the making of the highly anticipated second season and the work that goes into bringing the characters to life.

For Enhle, returning as Gabisile is more than simply stepping back onto set. She says she feels fortunate to have been part of several Netflix Originals and has developed a special relationship with the streaming platform.

“I’m so lucky to have been on quite a couple of Netflix Originals. I love Netflix, it’s home now to me and the reaction is usually not just in South Africa. They stream in various countries. So finding the odd person in Europe or America, mentioning a character name for example, Gabisile its weird because you always feel a sort of comfort when you’re out of Africa and you think you can let your hair down and you hear Gabisile, but you think ‘What? I’m in Italy.”

That international connection is becoming an even bigger part of Gabisile’s journey in Season 2. Blood Legacy is available in different languages, allowing audiences around the world to experience the story in ways that feel authentic to them.
