DJ Zinhle Celebrates Zee Nation Fest Success

South African DJ and businesswoman DJ Zinhle has celebrated another successful year of Zee Nation Fest, marking the third year of the festival with a memorable Women’s Day celebration.

The highly anticipated event took place on Sunday, 9 August 2026, at the Nasrec Expo Centre in Johannesburg, bringing together music lovers for a day filled with entertainment, fashion and live performances from some of South Africa’s best artists.

Following the successful event, DJ Zinhle took to social media to share some of the special moments from the festival. She showed off the outfits she wore and gave her followers a glimpse of the live performances and celebrations that took place throughout the day.

For DJ Zinhle, the success of Zee Nation Fest was not only about the event itself but also about the people who supported her throughout the long journey of planning and promoting the festival.

DJ Zinhle wrote on her Instagram, “May @zeenationfest be a reminder that you can do anything.

“Bestie Thank you for holding me down through this entire year of planning and promoting Zee Nation Fest. You’ve planned with me, counted down with me, shared the posts, bought the tickets, encouraged me, loved me and supported this dream every step of the way.”

“Thank you for showing up, not only on the day of the festival, but every single day leading up to it. Every comment, every share, every ticket, every message and every bit of excitement meant more to me than you know. I  love you, Bestie. Thank you for believing in me and in Zee Nation Fest. We did it together.”

“And can we talk about how AMAZING you all looked?! Bestie, you SHOWED UP! Thank you!”

The DJ also opened up about the challenges she and her team faced while preparing for the festival. Despite the difficult moments, she said they continued pushing forward.

“During the planning, there were so many moments that tested us, humbling moments when things didn’t go according to plan, and moments when giving up would have been the easier option. But we just had to keep going… @zeenationfest @brandonreynolds_ Zenzele & @thabs_theconnect. I’m so grateful for you. Thank you.”

“@murdahbongz you’re incredible, thank you for your patience and support. I ran to you when things got tough and you are always there to encourage me. Thank you for your gentle love.”

DJ Zinhle also expressed her gratitude to everyone who helped make the third edition of Zee Nation Fest possible, including her team, family, sponsors, suppliers, industry colleagues and friends.

“I am so incredibly proud and thankful to every single person who worked tirelessly to bring Zee Nation Fest to life. My team, my family, sponsors, suppliers, industry colleagues and friends. Thank you for believing in the vision.”

“This festival may have started as our dream, but it took a village of incredible people to make it a reality. I will never take that love, commitment and belief for granted.”

She also shared an encouraging message for the people she continues to support and work with, saying, “I may not always have all the answers, but I promise to keep showing up, opening every door I can, sharing everything l’ve learnt and believing in you.”

As Zee Nation Fest continues to grow, DJ Zinhle appears determined to keep building on the vision behind the festival.

She ended her heartfelt message with a hopeful reflection: “I pray that one day we look back at these moments and realise that this was only the beginning.”
