Minnie Dlamini Wins Big at  Basadi in Music Awards

South African media personality and TV presenter Minnie Dlamini has added another achievement to her growing career after winning an award at the 2026 Basadi in Music Awards.

Minnie Dlamini was named Entertainment TV Producer of the Year at the prestigious awards, which took place on August 7 and August 8, 2026, at the Joburg Theatre in Johannesburg, South Africa.

The win recognises her work behind the scenes as a producer of Club Bangers, a music show on Channel O that premiered in April 2025.

While Minnie is widely known for her work in front of the camera, her role as a producer has allowed her to explore another side of the entertainment industry and showcase her creativity beyond television presenting.

Announcing her as the winner on social media, the Basadi in Music Awards shared the reason they believed she deserved the recognition.

This award feels like recognition of that evolution. Of the years of learning, building, risking, creating, failing, trying again and believing that there was so much more for me to contribute to this industry.
