AKA man aow

One thing that we’ve always loved about AKA is how realistic the rapper is, always blunt and honest never beats around the bush.

So apparently in the music business you haven’t made it until you make in the USA, well we honestly don’t know who came up with that theory.

Even though our artists are getting international recognition lately, all that matters to them is dominating Africa. AKA was showing off about making it in the UK recently but the rapper opened up about where he wants to see his music career and well he says America is not the place for him.

The Sim Dope rapper was interviewed on Factory78 during his UK tour and he basically said that the American music industry doesn’t need any outside act and that he’s not obsessed about making it there.

“As far as my long term plans go, I’m not too interested in the States. The state’s know what they want. They have what they want. I’ll always be AKA from South Africa. Davido from Nigeria. While in the UK, Nigeria, Dubai I can still be ‘that guy’!”

Doro may not want to carry our flag with him on stage anymore but, at least he still knows that he’s AKA from South Africa.

“There are many Africans who are big in the States and who have affected US culture. But for me, I have a different plan. I have a different plan to get to where I want to be. It’s time for a new story.”

Uhmmm we really wonder what Doro’s plans are. We know we talking about music here but, can those plans please include marrying Zinhle?…
