Jorja Smith to Headline Rocking the Daisies 2026

The first lineup announcement for Rocking The Daisies 2026 has officially dropped, and it has already stirred excitement among music lovers. Instead of fans curating their Jorja Smith playlists ahead of summer, they now have something even bigger to look forward to.

British singer-songwriter Jorja Smith has been confirmed as one of the headliners for the 2026 Rocking the Daisies music festival in South Africa. The highly anticipated event will take place in Cape Town from 2–4 October 2026 at Cloof Wine Estate. This marks her debut performance in the country, making the announcement even more exciting for local fans. Tickets for the festival will be available on Quicket.

Taking to Instagram this morning, the festival shared the exciting news, introducing Jorja Smith as one of this year’s leading acts.
“We are thrilled to welcome a special bud – universal crush and sensational artist @jorjasmith_ – to the RTD garden in 2026!
Repping Walsall UK, Jorja will be live in Cape Town for the very first time at Rocking the Daisies this October. We’re not crying, YOU ARE! Tickets go live on Quicket at 12 midday!”

Globally recognised artists such as Summer Walker, Jessie Reyez and Snoh Aalegra have also taken to the Rocking the Daisies stage in previous years.

Fans of Jorja Smith quickly flooded social media with excitement. @nothembaaaa.m commented, “Hearing Gone, Blue Lights, On Your Own, Falling or Flying LIVE??!!!! Oh I NEEEDAT!!!”

@rushe_c added, “Anyway… ya’ll did this to Jessie Reyez last year too and she was the best performer of the weekend. See you guys in October.”

However, not everyone is completely happy. Some fans expressed disappointment that the artist will only be performing in Cape Town. @zanottibarb commented, “Please bring her to JHB, I’m begging.”

@agape_lerato echoed the sentiment, writing, “There has to be a Joburg show for Jorja! No ways. Please.”
